Work Environment

This role operates remotely with the flexibility to work from home, which allows for a comfortable environment conducive to effective counseling. At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, our counselors engage primarily via video or phone consultations, providing a personal touch while ensuring client safety and comfort. Our outpatient community health clinic supports a diverse clientele, offering a wide range of mental health services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments to gain insights into clients' needs and develop comprehensive and tailored treatment plans accordingly.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions using modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring clients’ progress is recorded and accessible for future reference.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to provide holistic care tailored to each client’s specific needs.

• Continuously engage in professional development through workshops and training to stay current with best practices and the latest research in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a varied client base, including individuals, couples, and families dealing with a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship challenges. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping them navigate their circumstances and improve their mental well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania is mandatory.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in providing counseling services, preferably in a clinical or outpatient setting.

• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations relating to counseling practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with trauma, substance abuse, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable.

• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and knowledge of other relevant software applications for effective documentation and client tracking.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, depending on your caseload and expertise.
