Work Environment

This position supports a remote work setting, ensuring flexibility and a supportive atmosphere conducive to both personal and professional growth. While you will primarily work from home, you will also engage with colleagues and clients via telehealth platforms and occasional in-office meetings, providing a balance of independence and teamwork. Our outpatient office in Eugene serves as the main hub for collaborative initiatives and team events.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments to develop individualized treatment plans that address specific client needs and goals, regularly reviewing and adjusting them as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, direct care staff, and other stakeholders to report on client progress and share updates essential for ongoing treatment.
• Prepare and coordinate a schedule of appointments and home visits, ensuring that clients receive timely support and that treatment goals are met effectively.
• Facilitate home visits where you will conduct in-home assessments and gather data necessary for chart reviews and client progress monitoring.
• Implement and oversee the treatment plans, ensuring that they are executed effectively, and use data-driven insights to inform best practices.
• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client care strategies and share best practices with fellow professionals.
• Document client progress meticulously through monthly and quarterly notes, maintaining accurate records accessible to relevant parties.
• Lead training sessions for colleagues and staff to enhance competency in the program plans and documentation processes.
• Conduct follow-up interviews and home visits to ensure ongoing support for client needs, reinforcing the therapeutic relationship.
• Act as a liaison with the mental health community and public stakeholders to strengthen resources and foster collaborative care approaches.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required to fulfill the educational criteria for the LPC license.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted Professional Counselor licensure in Oregon, ensuring you can practice legally and ethically.
• At least two years of counseling experience is essential, ideally within a clinical setting, to navigate the complexities of mental health care.
• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma, or substance misuse varies and is highly preferred, allowing for a rich therapeutic approach.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice is essential to protect both the clients and the organization.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are vital for building rapport and effectively supporting clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team, demonstrating flexibility and unity in pursuing client-centered goals.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) software and telehealth technologies to efficiently manage client data and provide virtual care.

• Experience working in diverse settings and addressing the unique mental health needs of men will be viewed favorably.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and therapies is encouraged to enhance treatment efficacy.
