Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and develop evidence-based treatment strategies.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and enhance resilience among clients.

• Provide evidence-backed therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Engage in both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.

• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping strategies, and available support resources.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to continually elevate the standard of care and refine treatment modalities.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and trends in trauma therapy to enhance clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve clients who are trauma survivors, including individuals experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise will directly impact their healing journeys as you facilitate their recovery through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Washington State.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience working with trauma-informed practices.
\n
• Sound knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective resilience-building strategies.
\n
• Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions with evident patient progress.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and supportive demeanor.

• The ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations and provide effective crisis management.
\n
• Proficient with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates with additional certifications in trauma therapy or specialized training in related therapeutic modalities will be given preference. Previous experience in remote therapy settings is advantageous as it demonstrates adaptability to our virtual care environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time role ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
