Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Precious Hands, you will work onsite in a state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center that fosters collaboration among healthcare professionals. Our facility is equipped with modern rehabilitation tools and technologies, creating a professional atmosphere conducive to healing and growth. You will work a consistent schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing you with work-life balance while allowing you to focus on your patient care responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical capabilities to identify areas in need of improvement.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities tailored to each resident's specific goals.
• Utilize your hands-on skills to enhance residents' movement and functional abilities, ensuring they regain independence.
• Document therapy sessions meticulously using our EMR system, ensuring accurate records of progress and treatment effectiveness.
• Apply the latest evidence-based practices to deliver optimal care, fostering a proactive approach to rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, nurses, and doctors, to ensure holistic patient care and optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will provide care to a diverse population, primarily consisting of residents recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. As these individuals work towards regaining their mobility, you will play a vital role in educating them about rehabilitation strategies to maintain their health long-term. Your focus will be on maximizing each resident's functional abilities, thereby enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred).
• An active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Strong manual therapy skills, along with the ability to devise effective exercise protocols tailored to individual residents.
• Familiarity with EMR software, specifically WebPT, is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

While we require a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, candidates with experience in geriatric care or rehabilitation will be given preference. An understanding of various therapeutic techniques and a commitment to continuing education are also valued.
