Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients’ trauma histories and identify suitable treatment strategies.

• Craft and enact tailored treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery and building resilience in clients.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), adapting techniques based on client needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for clients to process trauma, learn coping mechanisms, and foster emotional healing.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring comprehensive support for patients.

• Respond to crisis situations with effective intervention strategies during trauma-related emergencies, including immediate support and resource allocation.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping skills, and community resources to empower them in their healing journeys.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, ensuring the clarity and accuracy of client records.

• Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapist will primarily work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Understanding the unique needs of this population requires a trauma-informed approach that emphasizes empathy, patience, and recognition of the complexities of trauma recovery. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience preferred, with a strong background in trauma-informed care.

• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proven track record of delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and therapies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, reflecting a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• The ability to remain composed under high-stress conditions, demonstrating professionalism at all times.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and a strong grasp of relevant technologies to support practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n
