Work Environment

This position is primarily conducted onsite, directly within patients' homes, which allows for a personalized and adaptable therapeutic experience. Our therapists are granted flexibility in scheduling, with a Monday to Friday workweek where you can choose your own hours, supporting a work-life balance that is conducive to both personal and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs, and develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
• Administer skilled therapeutic interventions which may include exercise therapy, stretching techniques, manual therapy, and the use of rehabilitation equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Regularly document treatment sessions, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment plans when necessary to ensure maximum benefits and the achievement of therapeutic goals.
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic exercises and activities that promote recovery and enhance daily function.
• Educate patients and caregivers on the use of assistive devices, ensuring optimal self-care practices and safe mobility.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy by attending educational workshops and participating in professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The therapist will work closely with a diverse range of patients, from children recovering from sports injuries to elderly individuals needing post-operative rehabilitation. This role demands a high level of adaptability, as each patient may have unique needs, requiring personalized and often creative treatment strategies to maximize recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy is a must.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer skills to maintain documentation and patient records.
• A flexible and proactive approach to patient care, demonstrating adaptability in dynamic situations.

Preferred Experience
