Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Morton Comprehensive Health, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Managing a diverse caseload of clients, where you will establish rapport and maintain professional boundaries while promoting therapeutic relationships.

• Conducting regular progress assessments, reviewing client stability, planning for upcoming appointments, and facilitating timely discharges as warranted.

• Developing, implementing, and continuously monitoring person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.

• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date documentation and progress notes for each client encounter, complying with necessary regulatory standards.

• Performing intake assessments to determine initial client needs and establish appropriate care pathways.

• Leading individual therapy sessions on a weekly basis, focusing on personalized interventions and support.

• Participating in one-on-one supervision sessions to enhance your clinical skills and address any challenges faced in practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is particularly focused on supporting youth and young adults who may be facing challenges related to mental health, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. You will employ a variety of therapeutic modalities to engage clients effectively, using evidence-based practices that resonate with their experiences and foster positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree in mental health counseling, psychology, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• Meeting internal credentialing requirements for clinical practice in our facility.

• At least one year of documented experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.

• Previous experience conducting assessments, diagnoses, and individual/group therapy sessions.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation, alongside basic computer skills.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experiences will be considered favorably:

Compensation and Benefits\n
