Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized therapy solutions tailored to each client's unique needs by conducting thorough evaluations and assessments.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients, proactively participating in team meetings and discussions on treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards to ensure quality care and client confidentiality.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on serving individuals and families who face barriers to accessing mental health care. This includes those experiencing a variety of mental health conditions, which may range from anxiety and depression to trauma and substance use struggles. Your compassionate approach will be essential in building rapport and trust with a diverse client base, enhancing their engagement in the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) within the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting, demonstrating competency in client engagement and intervention strategies.

• A strong grasp of legal and ethical standards related to mental health counseling.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish and foster relationships with various clientele.

• Competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload management.
