Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Uplands Counseling Center Associates, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to the needs of couples and families.

• Facilitate therapy sessions with couples, providing a safe environment for constructive dialogue and resolution of conflicts.

• Conduct individual therapy sessions that focus on issues affecting family dynamics such as grief, adjustment to separation and divorce, blended family transitions, and communication difficulties.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to address various mental health challenges, including but not limited to alcohol abuse, job stress, and domestic conflicts.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop holistic care strategies that enhance patient outcomes.
\n
• Document patient progress and treatment interventions in accordance with organizational policies and state regulations.
\n
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training initiatives to stay abreast of best practices in marriage and family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve supporting diverse patient populations, including couples and families navigating challenges such as conflicts among family members, grief and loss, adjustment to life transitions, and communication difficulties. You will be instrumental in helping clients from different backgrounds foster stronger relationships and healthier family environments.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
