Up and Running Physical Health Therapy is actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team at our outpatient orthopedic clinic located in Ridgewood, New Jersey. Work Environment

Our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility is designed with patient comfort in mind. You will work onsite Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, in a supportive team atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

• Utilize hands-on therapy techniques, including manual therapy and movement-based interventions, to facilitate optimal recovery for patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific rehabilitation needs.
• Educate patients on effective rehabilitation exercises and strategies for injury prevention to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Regularly assess and monitor patient progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
• Effectively communicate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to coordinate care and enhance patient outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of patient interactions and progress within our EMR system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves a diverse patient population with a focus on orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. You will engage with patients ranging from young athletes to older adults, each with unique rehabilitation goals. Your role will be crucial in addressing their individual concerns and fostering a supportive environment where they can achieve significant recoveries.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is also acceptable and preferred.
• Active New Jersey Physical Therapist license in good standing.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an outpatient physical therapy setting.
• Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation principles.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is highly advantageous.
• A clean professional record with no prior board actions is required.

Preferred Experience

Experience in treating a variety of orthopedic conditions and familiarity with evidence-based practice guidelines will be beneficial. Candidates with background in sports rehabilitation and knowledge of current rehabilitation technologies will stand out.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and expertise.
