Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and intake interviews to gather relevant information about clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health.
• Evaluate clients' conditions using a variety of assessment tools and methods to create tailored treatment plans that address their unique needs.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, applying evidence-based approaches to promote healing and personal growth.
• Regularly monitor and document clients' progress through our electronic health record system, ensuring all changes are accurately reflected in treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to coordinate care and optimize treatment outcomes for clients.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed, utilizing de-escalation techniques and appropriate therapeutic methods to support clients in acute distress.
• Engage with families and primary caregivers, offering guidance on managing behavioral and emotional challenges that arise during treatment.
• Make referrals to other service providers when necessary, ensuring continuity of care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will cater to a diverse client base experiencing various mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in Tennessee is essential.
• Documentation of passing scores on relevant national examinations, such as the NCE or NCMHCE, is required.
• Strong foundation in mental health principles, practices, and therapeutic modalities.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, is advantageous.
• Demonstrated expertise in various therapeutic approaches, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and family systems approaches.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience working as a mental health counselor in a clinical setting.
• Experience working with clients with co-occurring disorders or complex mental health issues.
• Knowledge of American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and standards.
• Familiarity with case management processes and experience in crisis intervention.

Compensation and Benefits

We are pleased to offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus to attract top talent.
