Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, attending workshops and training to stay informed on the latest advancements in mental health research and practice.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for all clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will serve a diverse range of clients, including individuals and families in need of mental health services who may face barriers to accessing care. By employing a client-centered approach, you will help address various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship challenges. Your expertise will empower clients to navigate their mental health journeys effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.

• Minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally within a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
