Work Environment

The work environment at Swift Peace Physical Therapy is collaborative and supportive, located onsite at our Rehabilitation Center in the heart of Leesburg, VA. As a Physical Therapist, you will enjoy a structured schedule of Monday to Friday with rotating weekend shifts, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic while being integral to our weekend hospital care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients, setting personalized goals and creating tailored treatment programs that adhere to physician orders.

• Maintain accurate and updated records of patient care, ensuring compliance with documentation standards that reflect skilled therapeutic necessity.

• Assess patients with various impairments and functional limitations, utilizing clinical expertise to develop effective rehabilitation strategies.

• Supervise the physical therapy assistants (PTAs) and support staff, ensuring they understand the treatment procedures and contribute effectively to patient outcomes.

• Regularly interact with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists (OTs), and speech-language pathologists (SLPs), to collaboratively assess and refine intervention strategies.

• Provide constructive feedback to management and assist with productivity monitoring to drive improvements in patient care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with diverse cases, tailoring treatment plans to address the unique needs of patients of all ages. Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university.

• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.

• Proficient with electronic health record systems and other relevant software.

Preferred Experience

• One or more years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred, with a strong foundation in evidence-based treatment approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges between USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
