Work Environment

As a remote position, this role emphasizes a healthy work-life balance, allowing you to manage a thriving caseload from the comfort of your home or preferred workspace. Weekly hours typically fall between Monday and Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with occasional evening or weekend hours required to accommodate client needs. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and administrative staff, promoting a cohesive approach to mental health care.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of diverse clients, establishing rapport and fostering positive therapeutic relationships while maintaining professional ethics and setting boundaries.
• Conduct regular sessions to monitor client progress, stability, and readiness for discharge when appropriate. Each session may involve using evidenced-based approaches tailored to individual client needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans through collaborative discussions with clients, ensuring they are actively involved in their care.
• Document client interactions and maintain accurate progress notes and treatment records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate the mental and emotional needs of new clients, laying the groundwork for effective treatment strategies.
• Engage in individual supervision sessions to reflect on your practice, seek feedback, and continue professional development.
• Work in sync with other healthcare providers to deliver integrated care, sharing insights to enhance overall treatment efficacy.
• Adopt a growth mindset, continuously seeking new knowledge and skills to improve treatment delivery.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
• Current, active, unrestricted license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
• A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical outpatient setting after graduation.
• Proficiency in utilizing computer systems, including Excel spreadsheets, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY for record-keeping and communication.
• Demonstrated experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
• Comfort level with conducting intake assessments and managing clinical documentation.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, additional qualifications such as specialty training in certain therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT) or prior experience in a multidisciplinary team setting will be advantageous. Familiarity with various mental health software and tools enhances your efficiency and effectiveness in client management.

Compensation and Benefits
