Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with diverse needs, developing individualized treatment plans based on assessment data and best practices.
• Implement therapeutic interventions through various modalities, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and activity-based interventions aimed at restoring function.
• Closely monitor patient progress, documenting outcomes and modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal results.
• Educate patients and their families about conditions, prognosis, and physical therapy processes, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Provide guidance and training to patients and caregivers on the appropriate use of assistive devices, ensuring safety and independence.
• Participate in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and training sessions, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population ranging from children to older adults, addressing various musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Your expertise will be essential in helping individuals overcome challenges posed by injuries, surgeries, and chronic illnesses, thereby enhancing their mobility and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher, with a current and valid state license in Virginia.

Compensation and Benefits
