Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day activities as a remote Mental Health Counselor will include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions using secure video chat technology, ensuring client confidentiality and comfort.

• Guiding clients to explore and articulate their emotions and life experiences, fostering a safe space for discussion.

• Collaborating with clients to set realistic therapeutic goals and develop actionable plans to achieve them.

• Identifying potential barriers to recovery, proactively addressing and mitigating these issues to enhance client outcomes.

• Educating clients on healthy coping mechanisms and strategies tailored to their personal circumstances.

• Monitoring clients’ progress throughout the treatment journey, adapting approaches as necessary to best support their mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will cater to a diverse clientele, primarily consisting of stable adults with low acuity who have been screened before receiving our services. We take pride in our ability to link clients who may be hesitant or unable to utilize traditional therapy settings with highly qualified therapists who can meet their needs through telehealth. This allows you to engage with a wide range of individuals seeking guidance, support, and therapeutic care.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
\n
• Possess one of the following full licenses to practice independently: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Note that we do not accept limited or provisional licenses.

• Demonstrate clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
\n
• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients.

• Be computer literate, familiar with telehealth platforms, and capable of navigating technology efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in teletherapy or previous engagement with outpatient mental health services will be highly regarded. A history of working with diverse patient populations and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques can be an advantage in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a sign-on bonus, full-time counselors are eligible for a monthly healthcare stipend. Our company provides weekly direct deposits for your convenience, ensuring regular and reliable income.
