Archibold Physical Therapy Clinic is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Herndon, Virginia. Work Environment

The position is onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center located in the vibrant community of Herndon, Virginia. Working hours are Monday to Friday, encompassing a 40-hour work week, ensuring a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injury, disease, or surgical procedures to design tailored treatment plans.
• Implement treatment strategies that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, stretching, and equipment use to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, documenting treatment outcomes and making necessary adjustments to therapy plans to ensure the effective achievement of therapeutic goals.
• Assist in the development of assistive devices and provide training to patients and their families on proper usage to promote independence in mobility and daily activities.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient progress.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, continuing education courses, and peer collaborations to maintain the highest standards of practice.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and interdisciplinary teams.
• Proficient in computer skills, including experience with electronic health records and treatment documentation systems.
• Flexibility and agility in adapting treatment techniques to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a physical therapist in a clinical setting is preferred, but we welcome new graduates who are eager to implement their knowledge in practice.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 100,000 and USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
