Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health to understand their unique challenges and needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that include evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each client's circumstances.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, focusing on mental health issues, coping strategies, and resources available within the community.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a coordinated approach to treatment, facilitating referrals and integrated care where necessary.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in workshops, seminars, and team meetings to stay current with mental health advancements.

• Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with represent a diverse range of backgrounds, facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• An active license in New York as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) is a must.

• Proficiency in using technology, with the ability to navigate telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems (EHR) effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of dedicated experience in a mental health counseling role, preferably in an outpatient setting.

• Experience with a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or similar approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n
