Work Environment

Located in the vibrant city of Dallas, Texas, the Embrace Healing Center operates on an onsite basis within a school facility, allowing for seamless collaboration with educational staff and parents alike. Our standard operating hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a structured schedule while providing ample time for personal commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments for pediatric patients, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective management plans that support overall health and development.
• Administer a range of therapeutic procedures including immunizations, wound care, and diagnostic tests, while educating families about health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Document patient progress notes meticulously in our electronic health record system, ensuring continuity of care and compliance with all local and national health standards.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals for integrated patient care, participating in regular meetings to evaluate treatment efficacy and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Engage with families to provide guidance on health education, addressing developmental milestones, behavioral concerns, and health issues that affect children.
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to established health center productivity standards aimed at enhancing patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Embrace Healing Center will focus on the unique healthcare needs of children ranging from infancy to young adulthood. Our patient population includes those with common acute illnesses, chronic conditions, and those requiring preventive care. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in nursing and a completed accredited Nurse Practitioner program, with current RN and NP licensure in Texas.
• An advanced degree in nursing (MSN or DNP) is required, as well as certification from a recognized body such as the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
• A minimum of three years of relevant pediatric experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in pediatric health care principles and practice.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certification (if applicable to inpatient settings), ensuring readiness to act in emergencies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a school-based health setting or pediatrics specifically would be advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to manage diverse patient populations, providing culturally competent care tailored to individual needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this full-time role ranges from USD 126,000 to 150,000 annually, reflective of experience and qualifications.
