Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups to identify their needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.

• Provide graduate-level clinical social work and counseling interventions tailored to the unique circumstances of each client.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to communicate assessments and treatment interventions, ensuring the best possible outcomes through regular documentation and participation in patient rounds.

• Manage case loads effectively, coordinating care by consulting with hospital and community resources to integrate comprehensive support systems.

• Uphold ethical standards and complete documentation timely to satisfy organizational policies and patient care needs.

• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities, specifically Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as part of individualized service planning for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals across different age groups dealing with varying mental health challenges. You will be instrumental in providing support for those in recovery at our Detox Center, assisting clients as they navigate the complexities of their mental health needs and aiming to cultivate resilience and return to optimal functioning.

Qualifications\n

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling or social work.
\n
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions.
\n
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with clients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience\n

Previous experience working in an outpatient mental health setting or with clients in recovery scenarios, especially in a detox or rehabilitation environment, is highly desirable. Additional certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or similar modalities will be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n
