This position operates in a remote setting, allowing you to work flexibly while conducting online counseling sessions with students. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized and group counseling to students, following tailored treatment plans designed to address their unique mental health needs.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify behavioral health concerns, and engage in triage and crisis intervention appointments when necessary.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy, relaxation techniques, and motivational interviewing to promote positive coping strategies.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team within the educational environment to participate in case consultations, share insights, and coordinate care effectively.

• Design and execute wellness outreach initiatives, such as workshops and seminars, that focus on mental health awareness and proactive mental wellness among students.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students within the school system who require psychological support due to various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will work with a diverse population, including students from different socio-economic backgrounds, and ensure that all received care is grounded in a trauma-informed and culturally competent framework.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work is required for this position.

• An active Pennsylvania License in Social Work (LCSW) is mandatory.

• At least 3 years of direct experience in the behavioral health field with specific exposure to school-based settings.

• Demonstrated ability in utilizing a trauma-informed approach and social justice principles in treatment planning and delivery.

• Strong proficiency in the use of technology, including office management software and virtual counseling platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n
