In this remote position, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals committed to enhancing mental health services. You will utilize virtual platforms to conduct therapy sessions, manage caseloads, and collaborate with community resources. Your role will involve significant interactions with clients from diverse backgrounds, requiring both empathy and effective communication skills. You’ll also leverage technology for documentation and care coordination, minimizing paperwork to allocate more time for client care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Prepare and maintain crisis alerts, coordinating with county crisis services to ensure timely support for participants.
\n
• Document transitions for clients moving from hospital/inpatient services to outpatient care, working closely with hospital staff to facilitate smooth and comprehensive discharges.
\n
• Employ effective crisis de-escalation techniques to support all individuals during moments of distress, including fulfilling the role of Clinician of the Day to provide milieu support.
\n
• Conduct risk assessments and create tailored safety plans, ensuring documentation is completed the same day for individuals at increased risk of crisis service interaction.
\n
• Complete critical incident reporting forms within a 24-hour timeframe as required.
\n
• Participate in after-hours care coordination on an alternating basis to maintain continuous support for clients.
\n
• Engage proactively with participants to prevent potential crisis service utilization, focusing on therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Complete additional responsibilities as directed by supervisors, contributing to a cohesive team environment.

Qualifications\n

• An independent mental health license in the state of Oregon, such as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.

• Demonstrated ability to engage in complex mental processes, including sound judgment, clear communication, and effective crisis management.
