Work Environment\n

This position operates within a fully remote telehealth framework, allowing you to engage with clients from the comfort of your own home. Our virtual outpatient setting is equipped with the latest technology to facilitate seamless interactions between therapists and patients, ensuring that care remains accessible and effective. The standard work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' history and determine the most appropriate treatment interventions.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique journey toward recovery and personal growth.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to aid in trauma healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a supportive space for clients to process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for clients, addressing their physical and emotional needs.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies to provide immediate support and guidance.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with resources and skills to manage their experiences.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in patient records.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss patient progress and share insights on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research in trauma therapy to incorporate cutting-edge techniques and approaches into your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals recovering from trauma, including those experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your compassionate approach will be crucial in establishing trust and rapport, which are essential for meaningful therapeutic relationships and successful treatment outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, preferred but not mandatory.
\n
• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities, emphasizing resilience-building approaches.

• Proven ability in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a non-judgmental and empathetic demeanor.

• Adept at managing high-stress situations with composure and professionalism.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

• A team-oriented mindset, capable of collaborating within a multidisciplinary environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
