Regular business hours are maintained, specifically Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the clients' symptoms related to eating disorders, as well as any co-occurring mental health conditions.

• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and recovery goals of each client, collaborating directly with them to ensure clarity and achievable outcomes.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to guide clients in reframing their relationships with food, body image, and self-esteem.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to address distorted beliefs about self-worth, body image, and nutritional practices.

• Support clients in building healthy coping mechanisms and emotional regulation skills, empowering them to resist disordered eating behaviors.

• Engage in collaboration with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure continuity of care and to address the various aspects of clients' needs.

• Provide educational resources and psychoeducation to both clients and their families, fostering a supportive recovery environment.

• Maintain thorough and precise documentation of treatment plans, client progress, and therapeutic sessions in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular team meetings and case conferences, as well as ongoing professional development activities to stay informed about advances in the treatment of eating disorders.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required; preference will be given to candidates with higher education (Master’s or Doctoral degrees).

• Current and valid licensure as a LCSW, LCPC, or LCMFT within the state of Kansas.
