Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LPC, LMFT, LICSW) for Outpatient Care

Inner Refuge Healthcare Services, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a remote setting. The ideal candidate will hold one of the following licenses: LPC, LMFT, or LICSW, and will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of adults and adolescents. This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $105,000 annually and an opportunity to make a significant impact on the mental health of our clients.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home while engaging with clients effectively through telehealth platforms. As a mental health counselor, you will work within an outpatient framework, which requires excellent communication skills and technological proficiency. Our supportive infrastructure ensures that you have the tools necessary to thrive in your role, including access to electronic medical record (EMR) systems and ongoing training.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Delivering evidence-based psychotherapy sessions to clients in individual, family, or group settings tailored to their specific needs.
• Continuously assessing client progress and coordinating referrals to additional resources or services when necessary.
• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments and developing individualized treatment plans that align with each client's unique circumstances.
• Maintaining up-to-date clinical documentation, ensuring all records are submitted within 48 hours of service completion.
• Providing emergency mental health support as part of the after-hours on-call schedule.
• Participating in scheduled meetings, including clinical supervision and team discussions, to foster collaborative practices and professional growth.
• Ensuring timely preparation of discharge summaries to effectively transition clients out of care when their treatment goals are met.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, primarily consisting of adults and adolescents facing wide-ranging challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, and adjustment disorders. Your ability to understand and relate to various experiences and backgrounds will be crucial in providing effective and compassionate care. Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in a human services-related field.
• Current licensure in the District of Columbia as either an LPC, LMFT, or LICSW.
• Familiarity with EMR systems or a willingness to undergo training to enhance clinical documentation skills.

Preferred Experience

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, those with previous experience in outpatient mental health settings, proficiency in telehealth platforms, and a strong foundation in evidence-based practices will be given preference. Experience in working with complex cases involving multiple referral sources or inter-agency collaboration is also valuable.
