Make a difference in an educational setting by supporting students as an onsite paraprofessional. This full-time contract role is perfect for those passionate about working hands-on with elementary students and contributing meaningfully during the academic year. You’ll play an essential part at an elementary school providing 1:1 support throughout a full-year medical leave.

Key Experience & Skills:

• Current Delaware Paraeducator Permit required—candidates must provide proof before consideration.
• Prior experience in a school setting preferred, particularly as a paraprofessional.
• Ability to support a range of behavioral and academic needs.
• Male candidates are preferred due to specific caseload requirements.
• Willingness to obtain CBC fingerprinting ($85 fee, at the applicant’s expense).
• If an RBT, please note that clinical supervision is not provided and the position is classified strictly as paraprofessional.
• Dedicated to fostering a positive and safe learning environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized support to assigned student(s) as per the outlined caseload needs.
• Assist with academic activities, behavior management, and daily routines within the classroom.
• Collaborate with classroom educators and related service staff to deliver consistent support.
• Document observations and maintain accurate records when required.
• Contribute to a respectful, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere onsite.
