Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children to identify developmental delays and determine appropriate interventions.

• Engage actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring alignment with the family's goals and priorities.
\n
• Monitor developmental outcomes and participate as a vital team member in multi-disciplinary discussions to ensure holistic care for children.

• Provide emotional and educational support to families, equipping them with information, skills, and strategies tailored to enhance their child’s developmental trajectory.

• Utilize evidence-based practices and the Natural Learning Environment model for the effective delivery of early intervention services.

• Build rapport with children and families to create a trusting atmosphere conducive to effective learning and growth.
\n
• Strictly adhere to all federal and state regulations governing the provision of social work services.

• Collaborate with other health professionals and educators to promote integrated services for the children served.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this position is on young children, typically aged from birth to three years, who face developmental delays or disabilities. You will work closely with families, fostering an environment where parents feel empowered to be active participants in their children's developmental journey. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding families through the challenges they may encounter, offering support, resources, and strategies that align with the unique needs of each child.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current LCSW licensure issued by the Department of Public Health.
