Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor within our outpatient treatment center, your primary responsibility will be to help young adults, aged 18 to 30, make significant strides in their mental health journeys. Your tasks will include:

• Group Therapy Sessions: Facilitate therapeutic group sessions to encourage peer support among clients, promoting shared experiences and communal learning.
• Individual Counseling: Provide one-on-one therapy that focuses on individualized care, helping clients explore their unique thoughts and feelings, and developing tailored coping strategies.
• Comprehensive Treatment Planning: Work collaboratively with clients to design personalized treatment plans that are goal-oriented and cater to their specific needs and contexts.
• Progress Evaluation: Monitor client progress through various assessment tools and feedback mechanisms, ensuring adherence to therapeutic goals and adapting strategies as necessary.
• Team Collaboration: Engage closely with fellow clinicians and specialists to coordinate care for clients, share insights on complex cases, and enhance treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on young adults between the ages of 18 and 30 who are grappling with mental health and mood disorders. The treatment programs offered at our community health clinic integrate state-of-the-art evidence-based practices, ensuring clients receive the highest quality of care tailored to their unique situations.

Qualifications

• A valid LPCC license in the state of California is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of relevant experience is essential, we prefer candidates who have extensive background working with clients experiencing mental health challenges in residential or outpatient environments. Experience in implementing evidence-based therapies and holistic approaches is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 – $140,000 per year, complemented by a sign-on bonus of $3,000. Our benefits package includes:
