Motion Matters Physical Therapy is seeking dedicated and skilled Physical Therapists to join our esteemed rehabilitation practice located in Long Beach, California. Work Environment

Our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center is designed to facilitate optimal patient engagement and recovery. As part of our clinical team, you will enjoy a supportive and dynamic environment where teamwork and communication are key. Our operating hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured but flexible work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions, utilizing diagnostic tools and methodologies to assess functional abilities and limitations.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with the individual needs and rehabilitation goals of each patient.
• Implement evidence-based interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and the use of modalities such as heat, ice, and electrical stimulation.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, proper body mechanics, and strategies to enhance overall health and wellness.
• Continuously monitor patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and evolving rehabilitation needs.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless continuum of care, engaging in regular case discussions and treatment reviews.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient encounters, treatment progress, and significant outcomes to comply with facility standards and insurance requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

We serve a diverse population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, athletes, and elderly patients requiring rehabilitation from chronic conditions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current State Licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.

• At least one year of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting.
• Proficiency in advanced physical therapy techniques, treatment modalities, and patient management principles.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three to five years of clinical experience in a similar setting is highly desirable.
