Work Environment\n

The role is entirely remote, allowing our therapists to connect with clients from the comfort of their own spaces while maintaining the highest standards of care through telehealth. The normal work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as needed to meet patient demands.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide crisis intervention services to clients facing substance-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support and guidance.

• Educate clients and their families on the nature of addiction, effective recovery strategies, and available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions, progress, and treatment plans in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on assisting individuals grappling with substance use disorders, ranging from mild to severe cases. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and may face various additional social and psychological challenges. As a therapist, you will play a critical role in helping them build coping skills, achieve sobriety, and establish a supportive network of care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• Proficiency in understanding substance use disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment models.
\n
• Demonstrated experience conducting both individual and group therapy within an addiction treatment context.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a non-judgmental and empathetic therapeutic relationship.

• Skilled at maintaining professional boundaries and ensuring confidentiality in all client interactions.

• Capability to navigate electronic health record (EHR) systems and perform essential computer-related tasks.

Preferred Experience\n

Although not required, preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in telehealth, particularly in the realm of substance use treatment. Additional training in motivational interviewing or cognitive-behavioral therapy will also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 115,000 and USD 130,000 per year, supplemented by the potential for bonuses and a sign-on bonus for the right candidate.
