Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Renewal Springs Counseling, you will be responsible for a range of rewarding tasks that directly impact the well-being of your clients. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive intake assessments to identify client needs, challenges, and appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Performing detailed diagnostic evaluations and compiling thorough case histories to inform treatment strategy.

• Creating individualized treatment plans that address various mental health issues, with a particular focus on mood disorders.

• Facilitating ongoing therapy sessions, employing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Supporting a designated caseload by providing outreach, counseling, and encouragement throughout their therapeutic journey.

• Regularly monitoring client progress, making recommendations for treatment plan adjustments as necessary.

• Documenting all client interactions meticulously while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with ethical standards.

• Collaborating actively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive client care.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a closely related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• Minimum of three years’ experience in mental health counseling or a closely related environment.
