Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories while identifying personalized treatment approaches.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that allow patients to process trauma, enhance coping skills, and foster healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for patients.

• Deliver crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, offering immediate support and resources to affected individuals.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to aid recovery.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and compliant documentation of patient interactions and treatment outcomes.

You will be working primarily with individuals who have been affected by trauma, including those experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and associated dissociative disorders. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding these patients towards recovery, helping them to navigate their experiences and rebuild their lives. Qualifications\n

• Education: Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Licensure: Current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Knowledge: Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and proven trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal abilities, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental attitude towards patients.

• Technical Skills: Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure practice is mandatory, candidates with additional experience in trauma-focused interventions will be prioritized. Familiarity with telehealth practices is a plus, as is experience delivering group therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
