Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, enabling you to deliver care from the comfort of your own home. You will be part of a dynamic team that meets virtually, collaborating with peers to discuss cases, share insights, and enhance therapeutic practices. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some occasional evening shifts based on client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the psychological needs of children and adolescents, incorporating family dynamics into the analysis.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices and are sensitive to developmental stages.

• Deliver proven therapeutic interventions, including individual and family therapy, to address various mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, empowering parents and caregivers to create nurturing environments that support their children’s mental health.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to create a holistic treatment approach that addresses the diverse needs of our clients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of young individuals.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources, fostering a better understanding and proactive engagement in care.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on the latest advancements in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges. This role involves understanding the intricate nuances of developmental psychology and adapting your therapeutic approaches to meet the specific needs of younger populations. You will play a vital part in promoting their emotional and psychological growth while collaborating closely with their families.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT within the state of Washington.
\n
• Deep understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, along with familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Proven experience providing therapy to children and families, demonstrating sensitivity and insight into their unique needs.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with children, adolescents, and their families through a compassionate, child-centered approach.

• Proficiency with electronic health record management systems and general computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two or more years of relevant experience in clinical settings, particularly focusing on child and adolescent therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
