Work Environment As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be part of a community health clinic that operates remotely, providing 100% outpatient services. Key Responsibilities Provide weekly supervision and mentorship to practicum students and interns, aiding them in achieving clinical licensure. Deliver effective psychotherapy services tailored to individuals, couples, and families. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that cater to clients’ unique needs and situations. Maintain meticulous and accurate case records and documentation as per regulatory requirements and best practices. Engage in continuous learning by staying updated on research advancements and emerging best practices in mental health. Patient Population / Client Focus Your clients will range from diverse backgrounds, each with their own distinctive challenges and needs. This includes individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and more. Qualifications A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Clinical Psychology. A valid state license such as LCSW, LCSW-R, LMFT, or LMHC to practice independently. Professional liability insurance to protect against potential claims. A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in a mental health setting, particularly in therapy or counseling roles. Preferred Experience Experience supervising graduate-level students or mentoring junior clinicians. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy. Prior experience working in community health settings with a diverse client population. Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, reflecting a generous 'above market' salary package.
