Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Active GaPSC Teaching Credential with at least a P-12 Special Education General Curriculum Endorsement
• Strong commitment to inclusive education practices
• Experience or enthusiasm for working with early childhood or elementary-aged students
• Effective classroom management and collaborative skills
• Ability to create engaging, differentiated lesson plans
• Clear communication and a proactive approach to teamwork

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs within a self-contained and resource classroom setting
• Manage a manageable caseload of up to 10 students, primarily in Kindergarten to 2nd grade
• Support students with varying learning needs, implementing targeted intervention strategies
• Collaborate with general education staff, parents, and related service providers
• Monitor academic, behavioral, and social progress through regular data collection and reporting
• Encourage positive student behaviors—no significant behavioral concerns are currently associated with this assignment
