Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time contract position is available for the academic year from August 3rd, 2026, to May 21st, 2027, with additional days for pre- and post-planning. You'll be stepping in to backfill a recent vacancy within a collaborative, supportive environment, working alongside two dedicated teams who are passionate about making a difference.

Key Qualifications:

• Current GaPSC Teaching Educator Certification
• Endorsement in SPED General Curriculum
• Experience or strong interest in inclusion classrooms
• Dedication to individualized instruction and collaborative teaching
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to adapt quickly and build rapport with students and staff

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction to a caseload of approximately 8-9 students in an inclusion setting
• Collaborate with co-teachers, related service providers, and instructional teams
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom culture
