Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Active GaPSC Teaching license with P-12 Special Education endorsement
• Dyslexia endorsement required
• Experience working with elementary students in inclusive environments, especially grades PreK–2nd
• Demonstrated ability to support learners with autism, developmental delays, speech/language delays, self-regulation struggles, and learning disabilities
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and families

Role Details:

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• Contract duration: July 29th – May 21st, 2027, including pre-planning days
• Caseload of approximately 8–10 students, primarily 1st and 2nd graders, with some kindergarteners
• Plan and implement instruction within an inclusion setting, differentiating materials to address a range of abilities and needs
• Monitor progress, develop and adapt IEPs, and maintain student records
• Provide supervision to one student requiring assistance with toileting goals (no diapering or changing involved)
• Engage with related service providers, general education staff, and families to foster individual student success
