Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity, situated in a welcoming elementary school setting, runs from August 2026 to May 2027, with the possibility of additional planning days. As part of a dedicated, collaborative team, you'll provide crucial support to approximately 8-9 students, helping them thrive in their learning journey.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid GaPSC Teaching Educator Certification (with Special Education General Curriculum endorsement)
• Experience working in special education, preferably in an inclusion setting
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with staff, students, and families
• Ability to implement IEPs and adapt instruction to meet varied learning needs
• Professional, organized, and able to maintain confidentiality

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging academic instruction and individualized support to students with diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with two dynamic teaching teams to plan and adapt lessons within the inclusion classroom
• Assist with IEP implementation, progress monitoring, and ongoing communication with families and faculty
• Foster a supportive, positive classroom environment that encourages student growth and self-advocacy
• Participate in planning and staff development activities as required, including pre- and post-term planning days
