Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Valid Georgia SPED GaPSC Certification with SPED content approved through 8th grade
• Adapted Curriculum Endorsement
• Candidates with pending credentials will also be considered
• Experience working in special education environments, especially in self-contained or functional curriculum settings, is highly valued
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Develop, adapt, and deliver individualized instruction based on each student’s IEP and unique needs
• Foster a safe, structured, and compassionate classroom environment
• Collaborate daily with paraprofessionals and the classroom Registered Behavior Technician to implement behavior support strategies and accommodations
• Maintain documentation and progress on student goals, ensuring compliance with state and district requirements
• Engage with parents, staff, and other professionals to support student growth and development
