Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive preliminary interviews and maintain detailed documentation from the initial client consultation through to the conclusion of treatment.

• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health to identify areas of need and establish baseline measures for treatment.
\n
• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans that cater to individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring a personalized approach to therapy.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging clients to share their experiences and insights in a safe atmosphere.
\n
• Monitor and assess progress throughout treatment plans, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize client outcomes.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers to formulate and refine intervention plans.

• Follow up diligently with healthcare providers for clients who require hospitalization to ensure continuity of care.

• Identify and proactively manage behaviors that may hinder client recovery, developing strategies to overcome these challenges.

• Support family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing mental health challenges within the family system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The diverse client population at Timeless Counseling Center includes adults, adolescents, couples, and families dealing with various mental health disorders, emotional distress, and behavioral challenges. You will engage with individuals from unique cultural backgrounds, emphasizing cultural competence in your counseling practice to tailor interventions appropriately. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and active licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• Successful completion of the NCE and/or NCMHCE exams.
\n
• Demonstrated experience working as a mental health counselor in clinical settings.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR, to manage documentation and client information.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with clients facing co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions, as well as addiction disorders.

• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and contemporary psycho-therapeutic approaches.

• Solid understanding of the impact of prescribed medications on mental health treatment.
\n
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an approachable manner.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a naturally empathetic disposition.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
