Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each client’s history and needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting recovery and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate effective treatment.

• Deliver engaging individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients as they navigate their trauma and develop coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and health professionals to ensure holistic care for clients.
\n
• Provide timely crisis intervention services during emergency situations related to trauma.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on coping strategies, trauma responses, and available resources.
\n
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation in accordance with ethical standards and legal requirements.

• Engage actively in case consultations and team meetings to discuss treatment plans and progress.

• Stay informed about latest research and advancements related to trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with patients who have experienced various forms of trauma and require specialized support in their recovery journey. Our patient population includes individuals facing challenges with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders, ranging from adults to adolescents. Your expertise and compassionate approach will be critical in enabling them to achieve emotional stability and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.

• Must be adept at using electronic health record (EHR) systems and adapting to new technologies as necessary.

• The ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations, with a commitment to patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in providing trauma-informed therapy is preferred.

• Proficient use of trauma-focused therapy techniques, including but not limited to EMDR and TF-CBT.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
