Work Environment

The role is based in an onsite assisted living facility, where you will work closely with a diverse group of healthcare providers. Your typical work schedule will consist of 12-hour shifts totaling between 36 to 40 hours per week, facilitating flexible rotation to support 24/7 resident care while ensuring a manageable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses for residents with a range of both acute and chronic medical issues, identifying critical health needs and treatment opportunities.
• Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans in partnership with physicians, ensuring that all interventions reflect current best practices.
• Order and interpret a variety of diagnostic tests, including blood tests, imaging studies, and other relevant evaluations to inform clinical decision-making.
• Prescribe medications and therapies appropriate to each resident's condition and manage ongoing medication regimens.
• Educate residents and their families on effective disease management strategies, medication adherence, and discharge instructions to empower them in their health journeys.
• Participate in regular interdisciplinary rounds, collaborating with team members to review patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR), ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
