Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, allowing therapists to work directly within the homes of patients, developing therapeutic relationships and a personalized understanding of each client's needs. The home care setting is designed for flexibility, enabling therapists to choose their working hours during the weekdays, Monday through Friday. This structure not only aids in maintaining work-life balance but also supports the individual therapeutic approach for each patient.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, diseases, or surgeries within their home settings.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise regimens, manual therapy, and assistive equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Track patient progress meticulously, documenting treatment responses and adjusting plans as necessary to align with evolving health goals.
• Provide education and training to patients, caregivers, and family members about the treatment processes and the use of assistive devices, ensuring that they are fully equipped to support recovery.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending educational workshops and contributing to a culture of learning within the organization.
• Foster strong communication with other healthcare professionals involved in patient care to further enhance treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.

• Proficiency in using electronic health records and basic word processing software.
• A highly flexible and adaptable approach to meet the varying needs of patients in their home environments.

Preferred Experience

While we value diverse backgrounds, a minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical or home care settings is preferred. Previous exposure to multidisciplinary team environments and home care systems can enhance the integration of new hires into our practice.

Compensation and Benefits

Palm Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
