Work Environment\n

This role is designed for remote work, offering flexibility while ensuring that our clinicians can maintain a healthy work-life balance. You will engage with clients primarily through virtual platforms, while also having the opportunity to collaborate with team members during scheduled meetings and professional development sessions. Our practice runs from Monday to Friday, with working hours set to 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring that you can provide exceptional care while also prioritizing personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate client symptoms related to mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. This includes understanding their severity, frequency, and duration to inform treatment.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific goals and needs. This process requires the ability to effectively communicate and build rapport.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate clients in overcoming challenges.

• Provide education and resources to clients and their families regarding treatment options, coping strategies, and self-care practices that empower them in their recovery journey.

• Regularly monitor progress and adapt treatment strategies as needed, ensuring clients are on a path toward achieving their mental health goals.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to deliver integrated and comprehensive care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in mood disorder treatments, contributing to ongoing clinical discussions and case consultations.

• Keep meticulous records, ensuring all documentation complies with legal and ethical standards while maintaining client confidentiality.

• Advocate for clients, working to lessen the stigma surrounding mental health and ensuring their voices are heard in the treatment process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily support individuals struggling with mood disorders including various forms of depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. Our diverse client base encompasses different age groups and backgrounds, offering you the opportunity to interact with a variety of perspectives and experiences, further enriching your practice and professional skills.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and recognized license in the state as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Expertise in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, with a demonstrable history of implementing these methodologies effectively.

• An understanding of psychopharmacology to facilitate informed communication with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to connect and communicate with a diverse client population.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience treating mood disorders in an outpatient setting is highly desirable.
