Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will engage in various key activities, including:

• Collaborating with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans that ensure holistic support.

• Providing crisis intervention and support during high-stress situations involving mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and stability for both children and their families.

• Educating patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources available to them.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, contributing to continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will be on a diverse population of children and adolescents, typically ranging from ages 5 through 18, presenting with a variety of mental health concerns. You will work closely with children experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, ADHD, and various behavioral issues, providing tailored and empathetic interventions that support their development and mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in California.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate, child-centered approach to therapy.
