Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility is designed to promote healing and recovery in a supportive and welcoming environment. Operating on a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm, our outpatient clinic allows for more manageable patient interactions, fostering closer relationships between therapists and patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, individualized patient care, focusing on restoring movement and enhancing mobility based on each patient's specific needs and goals.
• Manage a caseload of patients effectively, ensuring each individual receives the time and attention necessary for optimal recovery.
• Utilize advanced orthopedic treatment techniques and methodologies gleaned from hands-on experience in outpatient care.
• Emphasize non-surgical treatment options, working collaboratively with patients to develop individualized plans that minimize the need for invasive procedures.
• Develop and implement holistic care plans that incorporate various therapy modalities, fitness regimens, and wellness activities to address patient needs.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to ensure personalized treatment plans are grounded in the latest research findings.
• Motivate patients by setting achievable goals and providing continuous encouragement and support throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an orthopedic physical therapist, you will primarily work with a diverse population of patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, surgical procedures, and chronic pain conditions. Our clients vary in age, activity level, and rehabilitation needs, allowing for a dynamic and fulfilling work experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, demonstrating a commitment to professional standards and ethical practice.
• A clean licensing history, free from sanctions or board proceedings, ensuring patient trust and safety.
• Mastery of various manual therapy techniques, allowing for tailored treatment approaches based on individual patient assessments.
• Outstanding ability to design and implement effective exercise programs that meet specific patient needs.
• Proficient in using EMR software, particularly Web PT, to maintain accurate patient records and facilitate streamlined documentation.
• Strong awareness of current physical therapy practices, bolstered by ongoing educational pursuits and research engagement.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly preferred, providing practical insights into effective treatment methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
