Although your work is primarily conducted online, occasional in-person meetings may be necessary for training and team-building activities.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Sanity Family Care Center, your role will encompass various therapeutic duties, including but not limited to:

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments that take into account the influence of medical conditions on patients' psychological well-being.

• Developing and implementing integrated treatment plans that focus on both the psychiatric and medical needs of the patients.

• Providing individual and group therapy sessions utilizing a variety of evidence-based approaches tailored to the unique circumstances of each patient.

• Collaborating with medical professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal treatment outcomes for patients with complex health issues.

• Delivering crisis intervention and emotional support during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate assistance is available when needed.

• Educating patients on the interplay between their physical and mental health, thus empowering them to take an active role in managing their conditions.

• Maintaining accurate, confidential documentation compliant with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Actively participating in team meetings, case conferences, and interdisciplinary care planning to enhance patient care.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
\n
• Proven proficiency in addressing the mental health needs of individuals with co-occurring medical conditions.
\n
• Strong background in delivering integrated care and working collaboratively with medical professionals.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that foster positive patient interactions.

• Ability to maintain professional boundaries, adhere to ethical guidelines, and ensure patient confidentiality.

Preferred Experience\n
