Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual and couples therapy to clients, addressing diverse mental health needs related to end-of-life care.

• Utilize an efficient billing service that manages claims and handles client and insurance accounts, enabling you to focus more on patient care.

• Maintain thorough documentation and timely record-keeping for all client interactions, ensuring compliance with regulations and facilitating smooth treatment processes.

• Schedule ongoing appointments, manage your calendar proactively, and provide regular updates to clients regarding their therapy sessions.

• Function independently while collaborating with other therapists within the practice to enhance therapeutic strategies and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will encompass a diverse range of clients, including individuals facing terminal illnesses, their families, and couples navigating the complexities of grief and loss. You will be tasked with creating and maintaining strong therapeutic relationships, using empathy and clinical expertise to advocate for and support your clients' unique journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York.

• Exceptional professionalism, strong therapeutic boundaries, cultural competency, and self-motivation.

• Well-developed skills in psychotherapy and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in hospice or palliative care settings is highly preferred, especially working with grief and bereavement.

• Experience providing therapy to couples will be strongly considered, as this is an important aspect of our service delivery.

• Ability to see a minimum of 20-25 hours of clients weekly, including availability for evening appointments at least twice per week.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 70,000 and 100,000 annually, plus the potential for bonuses. As a W2 employee, you will benefit from:
