Work Environment\n

This position offers a fully remote work setting through our Telehealth services, allowing for flexibility and adaptability in your work-life balance. Monday through Friday, you'll engage with clients from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of some scheduling flexibility based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and collaboratively identify suitable treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to somatic responses, trauma recovery, and resilience-building.
\n
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and foster healing.
\n
• Coordinate closely with psychiatrists and various healthcare professionals to guarantee an integrated care strategy for each patient.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention and provide critical support during trauma-related emergencies encountered by patients.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about common trauma responses, effective coping methods, and available resources for ongoing support.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Participate actively in case consultations, professional development activities, and team meetings focused on enhancing trauma-informed care.

• Remain informed about the latest advancements in the field of trauma therapy to effectively provide the best care possible.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role specifically serves individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and life-altering events. Our clients often present with symptoms of PTSD, deep emotional pain, complex trauma, and interpersonal difficulties stemming from their experiences. The counselor will play a crucial role in fostering a healing environment, ensuring that clients feel secure and heard in their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills combined with a compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfortable with digital communication platforms.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
