Work Environment\n

This position is 100% remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a strong connection with our outpatient office team. While the standard schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, occasional evening shifts may be necessary based on patient needs, offering you the chance to accommodate a variety of schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents to understand their unique challenges and needs.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that take into consideration developmental stages and family dynamics, ensuring a personalized approach to therapeutic interventions.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to address issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other behavioral concerns.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, empowering parents and caregivers to foster a supportive environment for their young ones.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide coordinated care that promotes the overall health and wellness of patients.

• Respond to mental health crises with immediate support and intervention, ensuring the safety and well-being of young patients.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to facilitate informed decision-making.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring a seamless flow of information within the team.

• Engage actively in team meetings and case consultations, contributing insights and best practices while pursuing ongoing professional development through training and workshops.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our focus at Mind Remedy Counseling Clinic is on children and adolescents aged between 5-18 years experiencing a diverse array of mental health challenges including, but not limited to, anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues. In this role, you will play a crucial part in their mental health journeys, helping to improve their quality of life and emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Washington State.
\n
• Comprehensive understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Proven experience providing therapeutic services to young individuals and their families.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and child-centered approach.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with children, adolescents, and families effectively.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient information and track treatment progress.

• Capacity to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, embracing collaboration to achieve the best patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of clinical experience in the mental health sector, with a focus on working with children and teenagers.
